DECC clarify ROC ‘Grandfathering’ for Biomass Power Generation Projects

DECC’s decisions in relation to grandfathering has been welcomed by Imperative Energy Ltd.

This announcement gives ‘straight grandfathering’ for solid biomass, energy from waste, anaerobic digestion and advanced conversion technologies such as gasification and pyrolysis projects. These technologies will have support fixed for 20 years, subject to the 2037 end date of the RO.
